Been dazed and confused, for so long it's not true, Wanted a woman, never bothered for you, Lot's of people talking, but few of them know, the soul of a woman was created below. You hurt and abuse, telling all of your lies, run around sweet baby, Lord how they hypnotize, Sweet little baby, I don't know where you've been, gonna love you baby, here I come again. Everyday I work so hard bringing home my hard earned pay, Try to love you baby, but you just push me away, Don't know where you're going, I only know just where you've been, Sweet little baby, I want you again.

But if you only wanted one thing One thing all your life You don't have time to stop and hear the whispers and the cries of Animals Animals Animals IIf you only wanted one thing One thing for your life Everybody kept you down and thinking twice. But if you only wanted one thing One thing all your life You don't have time to stop and hear the whispers and the cries of Animals Animals Animals

Evil 03:12
If you're a long way from home Can't sleep at night Grab your telephone something just ain't right That's evil, evil is going on wrong, I'm warning you brother, You better watch your happy home. Well, long way from home Can't sleep at all You know another mule's been kicking in your stall, That's evil, evil is going on wrong, I'm warning you brother, You better watch your happy home. If you call her on your telephone and she answers awful slow, Grab the next train smokin' if you have to hobo, That's evil, evil is going on wrong, I'm warning you brother, You better watch your happy home. If you make it to your house, Knock on your front door, Run around the back you'll catch him just before he goes, That's evil, evil is going on, I'm warning you brother, You better watch your happy home

Radio 04:24
Don't read the paper I don't watch no damn TV Don't read the paper I don't watch no damn TV But if you got a radio stand real close to me. Turn it on Baby and watch that thing warm up, Turn it on and watch that thing warm up, play me something, something sweet and tough. Tune it in Baby to anything you like Tune it in to anything you like When it gets to moanin' then you know it's right. Don't read the paper I don't watch no damn TV Don't read the paper I don't watch no damn TV But if you got a radio stand real close to me.

Blackbird 10:10
Night I was born I heard a blackbird sing Night I was born I heard a blackbird sing Song so loud, my ears still ring. Blackbird came down took me on her back. Blackbird came down took me on her back, carried me down past the railroad tracks. All on the way bird taught me to sing All on the way bird taught me to sing Song so fine, my heart still rings. Then late last night same bird came to me Late last night blackbird came to me Didn't believe it 'til she started to sing. When it was over blackbird turned to fly When it was over blackbird turned to fly Sing forever in the endless sky. Night I was born I heard a blackbird sing.

about

4 stars **** Downbeat Magazine – March 2018
“Jon Catler is strictly his own man, inhabiting an alternative blues world. Playing 12-tone Ultra Plus, 24-fret just intonation and fretless guitars, advocating 528-hertz harmonic tuning, he furthers the good cause of microtonalism with prodigal displays of assurance and intensity. Rock anthem “Dazed And Confused” and Willie Dixon’s“Evil” haven’t sounded so fresh in years, and six songs from Catler’s fertile imagination are just as gripping for his wizardry. Vocalist Babe Borden deploys her keen talent for creating edgy suspense, staying rooted in bluesy earthiness, even as her voice travels the galaxies. Crank up the volume for maximum post-witching hour effect.” – Frank-John Hadley, Downbeat

DEVIL’S DANCE features a combination of original songs as well as rearrangements of some classics ranging from Howling Wolf to Led Zeppelin all experienced through the prism of 528 hertz Harmonic tuning. In songs like Dazed and Confused the energy peaks and erupts into Harmonic clouds where resonant pitches vibrate sympathetically and give the listener a new Harmonic perspective. For the first time, there is a global awareness of a specific frequency. 528 hertz has been found to be the vibrating frequency at the heart of chlorophyll and hemoglobin, and is now being used to heal DNA. Devil’s Dance is the first rock-blues CD to be entirely performed and recorded in the cosmic C 528 hertz frequency. The band takes this concept one step further by combining it with pure Harmonic Series pitches, the notes-between-the-notes. This connection between the ancient sacred frequencies and cutting edge blues is being pioneered on this important release by 13 O’Clock Blues Band.
